Nutrition Support Centered Around You
Welcome! Reaching out for nutrition support can feel like a big step, and it’s okay to come into the process with questions or uncertainty.
Nutrition care should reflect the person receiving it, which is why our work together will be guided by your goals, experiences, and values.
I bring evidence-based nutrition education, compassion, empathy, and honesty to our sessions as we work toward greater freedom and
confidence with food and a more neutral relationship with your body.
Eating Disorders
There is no single path through eating disorder recovery. Your experiences
with food and your body are uniquely yours, and your nutrition care should
reflect that. We’ll meet you where you are with compassionate support designed
around your individual needs and goals.

AREAS OF SUPPORT
Disordered Eating
Maybe you’re tired of constantly thinking about what you “should” or “shouldn’t” eat.
Maybe years of dieting have left you feeling confused about nutrition or unsure of
what your body actually needs. Disordered eating can look different for everyone and
doesn’t always come with a formal diagnosis. It may show up as rigid food rules,
chronic dieting, anxiety around eating, or simply feeling like food takes up
too much mental space.
You don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough” to ask for support.

AREAS OF SUPPORT
How I Can Support You →
We’ll start by looking at what food and nutrition currently look like in
your life—and we’ll do that without judgment. From there, we can work
together to explore the patterns and behaviors affecting your
relationship with food, challenge unhelpful food rules, navigate fears
or anxiety around eating, and build greater awareness of your body’s
needs without replacing one set of rigid rules with another.
How I Can Support You →
Teresa brings more than a decade of experience in eating disorder
care, including 10 years as a registered dietitian. Her experience
spans multiple levels of care, including residential, partial
hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient
settings, giving her a broad understanding of the different stages and
needs that can arise throughout recovery.
Her role is to work alongside you as you navigate the nutritional
aspects of recovery, providing education, support, and individualized
guidance while respecting where you are in the process.
Mental Health & Food
Our mental health can have a meaningful impact on how we navigate food,
just as our experiences and behaviors around food can affect our mental
well-being. Changes in mood, stress, or strong emotions can influence
appetite, energy, and our ability to consistently nourish ourselves.
Nutrition support can help you navigate these challenges in a way that
considers your individual needs and what feels realistic in your everyday
life.
How I Can Support You →
Together, we’ll look at where nutrition feels challenging in your day-to-day
life and find practical ways to make nourishing yourself more manageable.
This might mean navigating changes in appetite or hunger cues, working
around low energy or executive functioning challenges, reducing anxiety
around food, or finding simpler ways to plan, shop for, and prepare meals.
Instead of expecting perfection, we’ll focus on strategies that consider your
energy, capacity, needs, and real life. When appropriate, I can also
collaborate with your therapist, medication prescriber, physician, or other
members of your healthcare team so that your nutrition care complements
—not replaces—the other support you receive.

General Health & Wellness
Sometimes you just have questions about nutrition—and that’s
reason enough to work with a dietitian. Maybe you want to better
understand your nutritional needs, add more variety to your meals,
or simply feel more confident making food choices that work for
you and your everyday life.
How I Can Support You →
Bring your questions! We can look at what you’re currently doing, talk
through what you’d like to change, and find ways to make nutrition
feel more approachable in your everyday life. Whether you’re sorting
through conflicting nutrition advice, looking for new meal and snack
ideas, or trying to add more variety to what you eat, we’ll focus on
what feels useful and doable for you—without turning nutrition into
another complicated set of food rules.

AREAS OF SUPPORT
Not Sure Where You Fit? That’s Okay.
You don’t need to know exactly what kind of support you need before reaching out. We can start with a
conversation about what you’re experiencing, what you’re hoping to get from nutrition therapy, and where
you’d like some support. You don’t have to have it all figured out before we begin—we’ll take it one step at a time, together.
